Toronto Premiere Screening of FRESH the Movie and Panel Discussion

This is a one night, special screening.
The screening will start at 6:30pm and the panel discussion will begin immediately after the film, and run from about 8pm-9pm.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Wayne Roberts, food activist and chair of the Toronto Food Policy Council. The panelists include Chef Brad Long, owner of Veritas and co-host of Food Network Canada's Restaurant Makeover, Chris Wong, co-founder of Young Urban Farmers, Debbie Field, Executive Director of FoodShare and inaugural winner of the Green Toronto Award for Local Food and Tammara Soma of Sustain Ontario and the Toronto Youth Food Policy Council.

The Beast has partnered with Matchbox Garden and Seed Co. to create an evening of dining that highlights the best in local fare. Your dinner will start with canapés and Ontario Sparkling Wine followed by a salad and then family style platters of grilled meat and vegetables. You will end your evening with a homemade dessert. People are invited to come at 3:00 pm for a supervised gardening and learning session. You can get your hands in the dirt. This is your chance to learn and experience organic gardening methods and find out what biodynamic gardening is all about. At 5:30 pm, we will join in a potluck dinner at the garden. In honour of organic and biodynamic gardening, we invite you to bring dishes made with organic ingredients.
